“The unique chord progression feels like 1970’s pop at its absolute finest, and it is so, so damn catchy. Add Amber Nicholson’s lovely voice to the mix, and it adds up to pure pop perfection.”
“In blurring the stylistic lines between old and new, Relick makes music you’ve never heard before that feels as if you have.”
“Everything unfolds beautifully on Twin House. And the band packs every song up expertly, but not before making a pretty rock mess beforehand.”
Amber Nicholson and Matt Hibbard forged a connection as creative allies and recorded their debut EP 'Twin House' in 2014 at their house in Denton, Texas. The first buzz cut 'Offering' landed a sync placement in Lea Thompson's film "The Year of Spectacular Men", as well as garnering local & critical acclaim amongst indie outlets such as Paste. Having relocated to Dallas and recording at home yet again, their full-length follow up to Twin House will release in 2019.
